Weather 5th January 2014 - A frosty and icy start and starting off dry, heavy rain spreading in through out the day and heavy rain expected overnight falling onto already saturated ground. Winds expected from the south/south west and expected to be gusting 45mph. More rain expected overnight and getting heavier before clearing to the east.

Weather 3rd January 2014 - Feeling very chilly through the day, and very strong southerly winds with gusts of about 50mph bringing down some trees. Also very heavy rain around falling onto the already saturated ground. During the evening it has dried up a little, however further rain is expected overnight and into tomorrow.

Weather Thursday 2nd January 2014 - Feeling quite chilly, with a chilly start but no frost. A mostly dry, sunny and bright day but very wet and windy during the evening and into the overnight period with Gales. Another Storm is due tomorrow with very high winds and more rain.

Weather 1st January 2014 - Mild for the time of year, very wet and windy with winds up to 60mph. Ground is saturated from heavy rain in previous days and weeks and river levels in the area are high. Further rain will fall throughout the day and into the night before a dry outlook tomorrow and a lull, more wet and windy weather expected before the end of the week.
